Even When You Least Expect It, a Full Tank Matters!

When the temperatures are low it’s pretty clear why a full tank of heating oil or propane is important for your home. After all, who doesn’t want a reliable supply of the fuel they use to heat their homes?

Did you know that keeping your tank full, even during the spring and summer, can impact your winter comfort, too?

It’s true! And it has nothing to do with how much you’ll be using your heating equipment during the warmer months – instead it has to do with maintaining the integrity of your heating system from the storage tank to the equipment itself!

With that in mind, you should keep your fuel storage tank full during the spring and summer because…

  • Empty space in a storage tank can lead to water accumulation caused by condensation
  • Water accumulation can then lead to sediment build up inside the tank
  • Sediment build up can cause the interior of the tank to corrode and rust, but the sediment can also be drawn into the heating equipment and damage it
  • When the next heating season rolls around you’ll have to deal with potentially extensive and expensive repairs to get your heating system up and running again

How can you ensure a full tank? You could do it the old-school way and place an order for one last propane or heating oil delivery. Or, you can become an automatic delivery customer and never worry about placing order for fuel again!

So, what are you waiting for? Call and place an order for your next fuel delivery or enroll in automatic delivery to keep your tank full, and protect your equipment and your comfort!
